Contribute to musical excellence in Victoria
When you support the Victoria Philharmonic Choir you are enhancing Victoria’s musical culture. You are contributing to a richer, more vibrant community, and fostering the essential role of music in the creation of a better society.
There are many ways to help: you can sing with the choir, become a volunteer, attend one of our concerts - or all of our concerts! In addition, VPC needs the financial support of generous individuals and corporations to attain its goals of the highest standards of choral singing and performance. Your donations make a difference, and help us keep our ticket prices accessible to the community.
We perform many of our concerts in partnership with professional musicians, such as the Victoria Symphony, and soloists of international reputation. About 50 per cent of our annual expenses are covered by ticket revenues. Historically the choir has relied on its singers and volunteers for logistical support in planning, promotion, front of house and many other tasks involved in putting on performances.
The VPC welcomes both corporate sponsorship and individual donations. You can make a one-time donation, or become a sustaining monthly donor by clicking on this link to a secure site (note: donations made up to 8:59pm on December 31st will receive a tax receipt for the current year):
VPC can now accept gifts of securities, which have capital gains advantages for the donor. If you would like to donate in this way, or want more information, please email Peter Butterfield: Contact
Donors and sponsors are recognized in a variety of ways depending upon the level of support and availability. These include:

- Podium acknowledgements
- Website acknowledgement
- Opportunity to attend receptions with performers
- Complimentary tickets
Please send us a message if you’d like to discuss a sponsor recognition package tailored to your organization’s philanthropic goals.
Anonymous donations can also be arranged if you prefer not to have your name made public.
A commitment to choral excellence is part of the legacy generously left to us by Louise Lemire-Elmore, our much-missed VPC founder, board member and chorister. Donations in Louise's memory can be made by sending a cheque to VPC at the address at the bottom of this page, or online.
Thank you for your support!
